The OMRON Group provides environmental education and awareness-raising programs with employees. These programs are intended to enhance their awareness of environmental issues and boost up their environmental preservation activities while they are at work and at home.
The OMRON Group provided environmental education programs targeting all employees as well as rank-specific programs with the aim of promoting environmental preservation efforts across the Group. To raise public awareness of environmental preservation, the Group participated in an environmental education program for elementary school students organized by the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the program, the Group employees held class at a school and offered an opportunity to experience product development, raising awareness of, and promoting reuse of materials. The Group will keep working on environmental education and awareness-raising activities.

With regard to its environmental stance and ongoing activities, the Group discloses information through various media such as Integrated Reports and website, with transparency and continuity.
The OMRON Group reported in Integrated Report 2019 and on its website on the progress of activities promoted as part of the OMRON Group Environmental Vision Green OMRON 2020, as well as information in accordance with the TCFD framework.
At the ESG meeting held in February 2020, the Group introduced its climate change-related initiatives to act on the OMRON Principles, in accordance with the TCFD framework.
The OMRON Group proactively discloses the environmental information to diverse stakeholders, including investors and customers, by responding to surveys, such as: CDP climate change, water security, and supply chain questionnaires; Corporate Sustainability Assessments for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) and other surveys by ESG rating organizations; EcoVadis survey to evaluate and monitor suppliers' sustainability; and Nikkei Research's SDGs management survey.
