The OMRON Group collects, dismantles, and disassembles its products that are no longer used by customers, so as to promote reuse of products or recycling by recovering raw materials.
In fiscal 2007, the OMRON Group started product recycling of automated ticket vendors and passenger gates in the Tokyo metropolitan area, followed by the Kansai region in fiscal 2010, and has been continuing the efforts ever since.
In Japan, for customers replacing their UPS with OMRON models, we take back unnecessary units for free.
The Group will keep working on product recycling of automated ticket vendors, passenger gates and UPS, collecting and replacing other products as well.
